Class Description

This class will accommodate both students that are brand new to learning ASL and students continuing on from our Winter ASL Class. You will be introduced to the artistry of ASL Interpretation and how it is used to share the theatre experience with audiences around the world! Believe it or not, ASL is a natural fit to music... it brings an original expression to music just as choreography brings perspective.  You will grow as an actor and learn to express ideas and tell stories in a completely new way!

Gabriela Jentzsch

Gabriela Is a Senior at Canyon Crest Academy High school and has been studying ASL for 3 of those 4 years. She has completed ASL 1 through ASL 4 and is currently a Teachers Assistant for an ASL 2 Class and is loving every second of it. Gabriela has been in theater for 10 years working with companies such as Young Actors Theater (YAT), California Youth Conservatory (CYC) and the Coronado Playhouse. She is planning to go to school for Musical theater at Grosmont in the Fall.
