Class Description

"Life! Immediacy! Connection! Sure, Improv is funny. But, more than that, Improv is a tool we can use to connect more fully and emotionally to our characters and to ourselves. Join us as we explore how Improv can be used to create fleshed-out, realistic scenes and characters out of nothing, to improve our connections to our roles, and to embrace the thing that makes us most human: our ability to live in the moment. The funny and the serious. The good, the bad, and the ugly."

No Class on the Following Dates December 18th, 25th, and January 1st for Holidays. February 19th for Seussical tech week.

Landen Baldwin

Landen is an actor, improviser, writer, and improv teacher. He recently returned to San Diego, and CYT, after getting his bachelors in Linguistics and Theatre at UCLA. He now performs and teaches with LEGOLAND California and Old Town Improv Company through the Encinitas School District, in addition to teaching and directing with CYT. He has a lot of real good thoughts about art and life, and he hopes to one day end this bio with them.
