Class Description

Learn Hip Hop’s funky steps utilizing lots of dance technique. This fun, energetic, “street-style” of dance over the years has proven to be a great way to develop one’s ability to pick up choreography fast. It is a technique and approach to dance that is unique all on its own. It uses dance forms such as break dancing, pop-locking, as well as classic jazz forms to create lively dances and a great deal of fun.

Alexander Ebalo

I began my formal dance training at the age of 16 in hip-hop/urban, contemporary, jazz, and musical theater. I currently dance with UCSD's urban dance team Ascension, while also performing at events with SeaWorld, such as the Sesame Street Parade.
