Camp Description

CYT International Musical Theater Camp is a unique, multicultural, summer experience, unlike any other musical theater camp in the world! Students from Shanghai, China will travel to southern California to join with American campers for this commingled camp, open to kids ages 10-15. Campers rotate through theater workshops including dance, drama, and voice, play exciting theater games, audition and rehearse for a professional musical, and make life long friends from across the globe! At the end of two weeks, campers perform in a fully staged production of Beat Bugs-A Musical Adventure, with costumes, lights, and sound. Camp price includes, t-shirt, show costume,
2 dinners, and lunch everyday!

Amy Stine

Amy Stine is blessed to be working for CYT, an organization which she grew up in and has always had a passion for. She started dancing and performing in musical theater at a young age and was a part of numerous CYT shows. She has trained in a variety of dance styles including ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, lyrical, swing and of course musical theater. She graduated from Benedictine College where she studied Education and Dance. She is currently the dance coach at Santa Fe Christian Schools and is an active choreographer, teacher and director within the San Diego area. She has a passion for choreography and has received two National Youth Arts awards for Outstanding Choreography. She loves working with kids of all ages and hopes to instill in them a love for the arts and inspire them to be the best they can be. 1 Cor. 10:31


Paul Stine

Paul Stine is a choreographer, director, performer, and dance instructor born and raised in San Diego. He began performing in musical theater at age 7, and shortly after started his dance career by studying tap under Grace Wichert. He furthered his love for dance by training and competing in hip-hop at Studio 429. Paul has a passion for storytelling and encourages his students to work hard and never stop learning. Paul has worked for community and youth theater companies, high schools, dance concerts, and is also a director/choreographer for CYT San Diego and LEGOLAND California Resort. He has performed professionally at venues such as World of Dance LA, The Welk Resort Theater, LA’s Choreographers Carnival Ball, and Hip Hop International in Las Vegas. You can currently see him as a dancer at the Disneyland Resort. His goal is to inspire and touch people through the work he presents on stage. “Accept the challenges so that you can feel the exhilaration of victory.” – George S. Patton


Nancy Casey

Nancy has been a part of CCT from the very beginning, playing the part of Mother Superior in the first Mt. Helix production of Sound of Music. She has music directed for CYT for over 20 years, and enjoys building live bands and conducting from the keyboard. She also teaches CYT classes, and has a special passion for the "Our Gang" kids. Nancy has been a music educator, from the classroom to private piano and audition coach. She enjoys leading worship, choirs and playing for various churches through the years. Her greatest joy is her family, husband, Craig and three adult children and an adorable grandson. Grateful to the Lord for her CYT family, she plans on joining in the fun till she no longer can see the notes on the page!
