CYT San Diego is a Branch of a national organization, Christian Youth Theater. This summer CYT National is hosting, EXPO, an annual summer gathering of CYT Branches from across the country. Part of the EXPO experience is APEX. APEX stands for Advanced Performance Exhibition. These CYT San Diego students have chosen to represent CYT San Diego in either Voice or Dance solo competitions. Nearly 500 CYT students, staff and parents from all over the US gather to celebrate what it means to be part of CYT collectively. We play, learn, perform and have a blast!

One of the workshops the students will experience will be taught by Guest Presenter, Matthew Frederick Harris! Matthew Harris is an outstanding Broadway performer and a warrior for Christ. He is currently on Broadway in MJ The Musical as Tito Jackon/Quincy Jones. This year's EXPO Worship Leader and Guest Judge is Isaiah Bailey who has performed with the National Tour of Beautiful: The Carol King Musical and most recently as an Ensemble/ Mufasa Understudy with The North American Tour of Disney’s The Lion King. He has also performed at the Lyric Theatre of Oklahoma, Music Theatre Wichita, Sight and Sound Theatres, and Hope Summer Repertory. 

On behalf of all the CYT San Diego students, we are asking for your support in sponsoring the students you know and love by donating to their EXPO 2024 fundraising campaign.

• 100% of the funds raised go directly to the students to help fund their EXPO expenses.
• Should an individual student exceed their individual goal, funds raised will go towards the combined efforts of this campaign.
• In the event the entire campaign exceeds the goal amount, proceeds will be used for sponsorships for camps, classes and production registrations.
