Janie Cox | Director

 Janie has been involved in the performing arts her whole life. She is passionate about the process of putting a show together and has a lifetime experience in performing, directing, choreographing and costuming. Janie has two daughters, Kinley & Baelyn, who bring so much joy to her everyday life and her husband Jon who she adores. She strives to live her life by the fruit of the Spirit, love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, gentleness, faithfulness, and self control.

Marissa Branca | Choreographer

 Marissa fell in love with musical theater when cast in CYT's 1987 production of Peter Pan. Over the years she has played many roles both at the community and professional theater levels. Marissa is not only a CYT/CCT Alumni, but she also sits on the CYT San Diego Board. Marissa is so grateful to the Russell’s for creating a place for her to grow in spirit and in confidence. Marissa is especially inspired to help CYT kids bring their gifts to the world! 

Brittany Lindsay | Musical Director

 Brittany began her CYT career almost 30 years ago as an Our Gang student, was in over 20 CYT productions, and has taught CYT classes. She currently teaches at an Arts school in East County where she directs a show choir, as well as the spring musical. CYT has always held a special place in her heart, and she is looking forward to singing with amazing CYT students!

Via Pietila | Choreographer

Via grew up in the theater and dance world and has been in many productions. She loves everything about theater, but dance is definitely her favorite! Via still pursues acting and musical theater- auditioning for film and Broadway. She has always looked up to her CYT teachers, and she is so excited to now be one of them!
