As programming continues to reopen in San Diego, CYT is in great demand and we want you to help provide young people the opportunity who would otherwise be unable to afford such extra-curricular activities.
Benefit: 50% of funds raised go directly to the participants' CYT account. The other 50% goes to a scholarship fund to help bring families into our CYT community.
Mission of the Campaign
The mission is simple. Find 23 donors to donate $75 to your campaign and help raise scholarship funds so more students can experience the fruits of the arts in 2023!
Did you know if we have 123 students find 23 people to give $75, we will raise over $200,000 TOGETHER! Think of all the jazz shoes and solo’s!!! AND the best news is that 50% of funds raised goes directly to your CYT account while the other 50% goes to a scholarship fund to help bring families into our CYT community. Look at you being so generous and paying it forward!
Setting up your campaign is easy!
Step 1: We can have lots of fun! - LOG IN TO YOUR ACCOUNT
Be sure you've already created your account on cytsandiego.org
The photo that appears on your campaign page is the one you have saved on your personal account. Be sure to update this photo (or put one in if you haven’t already) before proceeding to step 2.
Step 2: There’s so much we can do! - CREATE YOUR PERSONAL CAMPAIGN PAGE(S)
Go to your account dashboard, click on Tools (to the right of the user), and choose “User Campaigns”. Then click “Set Up”
Set participation to “Active”
Set a “personal goal” (suggested goal is 23 donors at $75 each total: $1725 Goal)
Create a personal message for people to see on your page (tell them why CYT means so much to you and why you want to help raise support for the Scholarship fund)
Click “Save”
All Campaigns must first be approved within 48 business hours.
Step 3: The stage is CYT!- SHARE YOUR PAGE
Once your page is approved, post your page link on Social Media and email friends and family to get as many supporters as you can!
