💃 🕺 ADVANCED DANCE

This advanced dance class is designed for students who want to deepen their technique while developing strong performance quality and expressive storytelling through movement. Rooted in musical theatre and contemporary styles, the class focuses on precision, musicality, dynamics, and intentional movement choices.

Classes will include structured warm-ups, technical skill building, across-the-floor work, and choreography that emphasizes character, emotion, and ensemble awareness. Students will learn how to approach choreography with focus, confidence, and purpose, refining their stage presence and ability to communicate a story through dance. While the class is geared toward experienced movers, motivated beginners with a strong interest in dance are welcome.

Hi I’m Olivia! I have been a part of CYT for many years now, participating in shows, and now teaching for almost 3 years! Theatre has always been a passion of mine- I love seeing and helping children find that same passion, and use it to glorify Jesus! I have always wanted to be a dance teacher, and I absolutely love being able to do so at my most favorite place!! Can’t wait to meet you!🫶🏼

Location Notes:

Classes are located throughout the building in partnership with The Rock Academy. Families will check in at the Lobby and students will be escorted by Teaching Artists and Staff to their classroom(s).
