Description
THEME: The Sound of Music
Have you ever wanted to play the songs from your favorite musicals? The Sounds of Music is the perfect introduction to guitar for aspiring performers and musicians ages 12–18! Designed for beginners, this class will teach the fundamentals of guitar in a fun, encouraging, theater-inspired environment.
Students will learn basic chords, strumming patterns, rhythm, and proper playing technique while exploring songs from the stage and beyond. Along the way, they'll build musical confidence, strengthen listening skills, and discover how guitar can be a powerful tool for storytelling and performance.
Whether you've never picked up a guitar or know just a few chords, this class will help you develop a strong musical foundation while making music with friends. Bring your guitar, your enthusiasm, and get ready to make some music!
