Take your performance skills to the next level in this elite holiday performance ensemble. Selected through a video audition, Holiday Tour Group is designed for dedicated performers who are ready to represent CYT through polished, high-energy performances during the Christmas season.

CYT Tour Groups serve as ambassadors for CYT, bringing the excitement and excellence of musical theater into the community through performances in smaller venues and at a variety of special events. As a member of this ensemble, you'll represent CYT with professionalism, character, and outstanding performance quality wherever you go.

Students will rehearse an exciting repertoire of holiday music, choreography, and theatrical staging while refining their vocal technique, dance precision, stage presence, and professionalism. With a focus on excellence, performers will learn to deliver engaging, performance-ready productions that captivate audiences in a variety of community and special event settings.

This fast-paced ensemble requires commitment, a strong work ethic, and a passion for performing. Members will be challenged to grow as versatile performers while working collaboratively to create a polished holiday showcase that reflects the highest standards of musical theater. *Students who are cast in this class are also committing to additional performance opportunities in the community over the holiday season. These dates are still being scheduled and will be discussed and planned with the families participating in the Tour Group. If cast, there will be an additional $50 production fee to cover costume and other production costs.

AUDITION INFORMATION
The audition form will be sent in the registration confirmation email.  Registration for this Tour Group and the Audition must be completed by 8:00pm Friday, August 14th. Students will submit videos that includes the following:

Vocal Performance: Sing 30 seconds of a song of your choice that best showcases your vocal ability.
Dance Performance: Submit a 30–60 second clip demonstrating your dance skills. This may be a clip from a previous performance or a newly recorded video of you performing choreography or freestyle that highlights your movement and stage presence.

Choose material that best represents your strengths and allows us to see your confidence, performance quality, and personality.

Prerequisite: Must Audition and be accepted into the Group prior to the 1st class day. Will need to agree to TBD performance dates.

Classes are located throughout the building in partnership with The Rock Academy. Families will check in at the Lobby and students will be escorted by Teaching Artists and Staff to their classroom(s).
