THEME: Mary Poppins
This is the class that combines the three elements of musical theater: voice, dance and acting. Be a part of the wonderful world of musical theater by exploring storytelling, choreography, vocal technique, and character development!

This high-energy class will include warm-ups, group activities, dance routines, theater games and performance. Students will learn how to perform a musical theater number with an ensemble from start to finish while demonstrating confidence, focus, energy, and stage presence.

SHOWCASE: February 24th
This is a FREE event for Family & Friends to come watch the students showcase a brief sample of what they learned this session. Doors will open at 6:05.

Christine Callaway loves musical theatre and has directed and performed in over 50 productions. She is no stranger to the classroom as this is her 11th year teaching. She has taught all different age ranges from kindergarten to high school but currently is the Middle School theatre teacher at La Mesa Arts Academy. Some of her favorite productions she has directed have included Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Moana Jr, A Midsummer Nights Dream and The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe.
