CYT brings the best in children’s theater to students throughout the county! Literature from the classroom comes to life on stage in quality productions with colorful costumes, professional staging, energetic choreography and singing. CYT School Day performances are designed specifically for elementary and middle school classes and last year over 40,000 students attended our productions. All performers and crew members are students ages 8 –18.

About Field Trips

We offer numerous opportunities for students to attend our shows throughout the year. Find the dates and times that works for you, then book your field trips with us! Plan your entire year!
  • Prices are $8 a ticket if booked before 09/30/19 and $10 a ticket thereafter.
  • A minimum of 15 tickets must be reserved, and for every 15 tickets you purchase you receive 2 free adult tickets for chaperones! Additional tickets may be purchased at the student rate.
  • A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm reservations and is due two weeks after your booking date is confirmed. Cash, check, credit card, and purchase orders are accepted.
  • Your final payment and reservation confirmation details are due 30 days prior to the show date.  Tickets are non-refundable at that time.

How to Book

Step 1 - Fill out the Form 
Fill out the Google Form below! Select your show date and time, tell us how many students and chaperones you'll bring, and answer a few other basic questions. This does not guarantee your seats. We will verify your submission and let you know whether or not your seats have been reserved.

Step 2 - Receive verification email and submit 50% deposit
We will verify your submission and confirm your reservation via email. When confirmed, you will receive an invoice for your field trip, details on the show location, and a packet with information about our field trip processes. Your 50% non-refundable deposit is due two weeks from the date you receive your confimation email and can be paid with a card through the invoice, with cash by visiting the CYT Box Office (by request only), or with a Purchase Order or check by mailing it to the Box Office. If the non-refundable 50% deposit is not submitted two weeks after your booking, then your reservation will be released unless other arrangements have been agreed upon.

Step 3 - Pay remaining balance
Your final payment (the remaining 50% of your order) is due no later than one month before your field trip. As with the 50% deposit, the remaining balance may be paid with a card through the invoice, with cash by visiting the CYT Box Office (by request only), or with a Purchase Order or check by mailing it to the Box Office.  If remaining balance is not paid by your assigned due date (30 days prior to your performance), your reservation is at risk of being dropped.
