The CYT Tour Company are they ambassadors for CYT, bringing CYT to the community in smaller settings and for a variety of occasions. CYT has a large inventory of scenery, drops, props, costumes, set pieces and theatrical furniture, along with a limited amount of lighting, special effects equipment and theater hardware available for rent. Inventory changes therefore the list of items may not be accurate. Please email the appropriate department below, or contact the CYT Office at 619-588-0206. CCT/CYT is an educational theater organization so our shows have priority over any others. Appointments for viewing, pick-up and returns are required. No walk-in customers please. Overview: This course is designed to give students the background, overview, and hands on training in what it takes to be a director of a fully staged musical theater production. The course is divided into 15 hours of classroom instruction and the second have of the course practical “real life” experience in working with actual directors, musical directors and choreographers as they produce a fully staged musical production. The lab hours for this part of the course vary from 35-50 hours.
