Directors' Choice Awards is CYT’s version of Hollywood’s Academy Awards! Each year CYT nominates the best of the best in each category from our Fall, Winter and Spring sessions of shows around the county. The artistic director, the managing director, and a selected committee review all the shows and nominate outstanding work.
The accumulation of the year comes together in a special evening with an exciting awards show featuring some of the top musical numbers from the previous year. Winners are announced that evening at this special gala event.
Have you ever watched a skit from “Whose Line is it Anyway” and laughed your head off? Don’t miss this opportunity to see CYT kids at their funniest. Teams from all over the country get together each summer for workshops, joining in some hilarious games and skits. This three day event culminates with a competition to see who really is the funniest CYT area at IMPROVATHON!
Auditions for the South - East - Central teams:
Monday, February 13th from 5:00- 6:30 p.m.
Auditions will be held at the CYT Warehouse.
