Scenic Rentals are by appointment only.
Begin by contacting our rental staff at
rentals@cytsandiego.org explaining your rental needs and which items you might be interested in borrowing for your event/performance. They will set you up with the appropriate appointment time or refer you for further assistance.
If you know what you need and want to schedule your own rental appointments, use the button below, or head to
http://calendly.com/setrentals. Our set, drop, and prop rental inventory can be found at the bottom of the page, but please note that this is not a comprehensive list.
- If you don't know what items you'd like to borrow, begin by scheduling a Walkthrough Appointment. This appointment is for coming into our warehouse space and picking out items that will work for your performance. Walkthrough appointments are charged a fee depending on how mush time you need.
For a 15 minute walkthrough: $20
For a 30 minute walkthrough: $30
For a 60 minute walkthrough: $60
Then, if you find items that will work for your production, you'll follow up by scheduling your pickup and dropoff appointments and fill out our
Rental Request Form. Our rental staff will then check for conflicts with other clients' requests, and get back to you with any potential replacement items should a conflict arise. Please take note of our reservation policy below.
- If you already know which items you'd like to borrow or don’t need a Walkthrough, then head to the link below to schedule both your pickup and dropoff appointments and list all the items needed on our Rental Request Form. Our rental staff will then check for rental conflicts with other clients' requests, and get back to you with any potential replacement items should a conflict arise.
Reservation Policy Note: In order to have your rental request reserved for your show/event dates, we require
both your pickup and dropoff appointments to be scheduled. Only after both appointments are scheduled, and any rental conflicts are resolved, will your request be formally reserved.
