Look * Love * Listen

This delightful musical by Jon Lorenz and Paul Russell made its debut in 1994. In it’s first showing over 8,000 people experienced what theater critics claimed to be “Fabulous!” and “…better than the movie!” This non-Disney version has all the fun and excitement of the cartoon but comes to life on the stage. The script stays close to the storyline of the animated film except for endearing new characters and a surprise ending that is packed with humor and frivolity.

In addition to familiar characters such as Jasmine, Jafar, the Genie and Aladdin, the script returns to the original story and brings in the characters of Aladdin and his three buddies and the historical character of the Storyteller, Scheherazade. There are many roles and a large chorus of dancers and singers.

How To Sign Up for Auditions & Crew

First, you must have created a family account.  If you have not completed that step, stop and do that first.  You can find instructions HERE. Once you have created your family or if you already have a family account, simply log in and go to your dashboard.  There is a tool drop down menu next to each person on your family account to the far right.  Select the tool button next to the student that is auditioning (again, you must be between the ages of 8 - 17) and select Auditions.  Under their name you will find the button +New Audition Appointment and follow those steps.

Second, after you have signed up for your audition time or to Crew, please fill out the Audition Form or Crew Form to provide further information.  This includes your headshot, audition track, body measurements (needed for costuming) and additional information.  Be sure to review the Audition Form and Crew Form and gather all information before submitting.

Both of these steps must be completed in order to Audition and Crew for Aladdin! If you have any questions, feel free to contact the Show Coordinator, Robyn Smith.
